I was fortunate to visit Japan let alone the city of Kyoto for only a brief period of time. But that quick visit was filled with oooohhss, eehhhs, and ahhhss from both the hospitable locals and the scenic places of Japan. Kyoto was the best and most sugoi (amazing) area we have been in the country. Although the trip from Osaka to Kyoto was far, it pays off once you reach the destination. From its beautiful palaces and well-preserved buildings, Kyoto never hides its ancient beauty from the modern world. A remarkable place to unravel. A fantastic site to indulge. An incredible city to explore. Kyoto is a definite must in your itinerary if you plan to visit Japan.
